An elated Preetika Rao expresses that she was quite nervous for her sister Amrita Rao who announced the good news of her pregnancy just four days before the major lock-down in India. “Corona times were scary and that’s why I chose to not meet my sister for the first 3-4 months of lock-down for her safety” she says.
The actress goes on to reveal that the family also had a private baby shower ceremony just consisting of the immediate family members while maintaining all Safety measures during Covid-times.
“Mom strictly didn’t allow me to take up any outdoor Ad shoots events and music video offers during Amrita’s pregnancy phase especially in the last two months… so that I don’t put both of them to any risk and I still have several restrictions on me for the next few months which are perfectly understandable as I can’t expose mom to the virus living in the same house, she will have to understandably be around my sister now more often!” exclaims the talented actress who is also a singer and has released covers.
