CBI summoned Rhea charkraborty on sushant’s death case’s FIR
CBI questioned Rhea chakraborty, which is investigating actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Rhea has been accused by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family behind sushant death; they allege she and her family mentally harassed him and took his money.
After the Supreme Court order, last week, CBI began its probe. Its investigation is based on a First Information Report or FIR filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family in Bihar, which names Rhea Chakraborty, her parents and brother Showik among others.CBI also questioned Showik Chakraborty in Mumbai for 14 hours yesterday, until midnight.
Yesterday, Rhea Chakraborty said she felt “broken” by the allegations, speculation and investigations against her and her family. “My family is being treated like terrorists…Tomorrow if something happens to us because of the media pressure … I am part of three investigations, all I have left is my spirit. That is also being crushed,” she said. On whether she feared arrest, she said: “I don’t think I am going to be arrested tomorrow. I have done nothing to be arrested.”
The Enforcement Directorate, which is inquiring into alleged money laundering and fraud charges against Rhea Chakraborty and her family, questioned her father Indrajit Chakraborty yesterday. The agency reportedly searched the family’s bank locker for six hours, in the presence of Rhea Chakraborty’s father. He was with the Enforcement Directorate team till 9 PM, say sources.
