A notification has been issued to implement the Consumer Protection Act 2019 from July 20. The new law replaces the Consumer Protection Act 1986. Sources in the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution said that the new law would come into force on July 20, i.e. from today.

The new Consumer Protection Act 2019 has been implemented by the government. Since the enactment of this new law, many new rules have been enacted to protect the interests of consumers. Which were not in the old Act. In particular, new business models from the last few years have been included.
